Female guests staying at the Mirage are entitled to the Ladies ‘free’ wristband; it’s worth two drink coupons at the club before midnight. Wildfire Restaurant Sydney

Looking for the best and most sophisticated dining experience in Sydney? Why not go for the award-winning Wildfire Restaurant Sydney, situated in an awesome locale that provides great views for the world-famous Opera House and the Sydney Harbour. It has under its belt ‘the best new Sydney Restaurant’ according to the Vanity Fair Magazine of July 2002, and the coveted Wine List from 2002-2004, courtesy of the Restaurant & Catering Association NSW.

Wildfire boasts of an unmatched extravagant ambient interior to complement its position’s beauty, and has the largest open kitchens among Sydney restaurants and bespoke facilities for grilling and wood firing on a grand scale. The key to success for a restaurant of such status is to some extent un-idealistic notion of constancy. With all the 300 clients waiting for dishes from the same menu, and with the locals coming back from time to time for food, the kitchen staff must endeavor for similitude to ensure satisfaction and happiness. The 40-odd something kitchen staff of Wildfire Restaurant Sydney hold this special skill in the highest regard, and the quantity allows for a depth of cooking style and a menu unmatched.

Drink lovers would fall in love with Wildfire’s sea bar as you get indulged with the ocean thanks to over 6 different assortments of rock oyster and 5 different pacific oysters. There are marvelous seafood platters, and the aquarium boasts crustaceans, fish, and shellfish. Menu is categorized into 3 -1st and 2nd flavours and main plates all offering different modern mouthwatering flavours. Whether you want meat, poultry, vegetables, or seafoods, the wood-fired churrasco fired with seasoned yellow box wood and ironbark puts that exceptional flavour unique only to Wildfire.

The general build structure of The Milan Italian Restaurant is quite impressive, considering the fact that it’s a transformation of the 2002 Victorian remains. A discreet parking and large box bay windows that provide the best views of the canal and surroundings. Interior design, which was done by the famous Richard Chadwick Associates is just amazing.

Milan basically covers 2-storeys but has been designed in such a way that one can see someone on the 1st floor from the ground floor and vice versa, thanks to the charming viewing gallery. The entire sitting plan has been made possible thanks to the mid grand piano visible to all. The backdrop is made of warm earth colors, and enhanced using natural wood and bare brick. The large windows, pitched ceiling, sculpture, art and music enhances the interest, but a mere glance at the faultlessly laid tables hints on what excellence should be followed.

Welcoming bonhomie radiates from the 2nd-storey window of this vivacious tapas bar found in Kagurazaka. Once you’re inside, you’ll be greeted with ceramic plates painted in luminous Andalucian colors hanging tightly above the beautiful brick-lined counter. La Cuchara restaurant, which comfortably accommodates 24 people, has wine bottles clearly marked with price tags and short descriptions, beautifying the tall wooden shelves when you look at the far end corner of the room.

It also boasts Floor-to-ceiling windows which make the space appear bigger and creating an atmosphere of both openness and intimacy. The crowd inclusive of the staff is made up of young individuals. When you arrive, you should expect to wait for a while but it won’t take long before the tables turn. The place normally gets filled up past 7pm, as most people come in for drinks snacks. Even so, you can still sample a great meal because the menu has some larger plates for full meals.

La Cuchara restaurant’s menu features tasty prawns served in scorching hot garlic oil (Y880), potato croquettes ballooned with Jamon Serrano (Y680), syrupy organic vegetables with a light bagna caulda dipping sauce (Y780). Other unusual but surprisingly nice delicacies include bite-sized skewers of bonito and salty dried fish roe (Y380) and Lamb chops from the iron griddle (Y1600).

Being ranked among top restaurants in Tokyo, LA Cuchara boasts of the best wine variety served by the glass (six whites, six reds, and two cavas), or by the bottle. The wine list is dominated by Iberian selections although you’ll also spot the best from Italy, France and the New World. If you wish to have more than a glass or two, it would be better to order by the bottle. A word of caution though, the service tends to be glaringly slow although friendly. Go with a budget of circa Y5000/ person

In a city bursting with very many great restaurants, located at Caesar’s Palace at the Forum Shops, Il Mulino New York Restaurant provides the rarest treat of them all. It has a sister restaurant in Las Vegas which mainly specializes in 1) the best ingredients available 2) best service and 3) Northern Italy cuisine.

Even though many Americans associate Campania with Italians, Northern Italy, more particularly in Piedmont is arguably the most interesting of them all. Piedmont’s cuisine is characterized by wild game, truffles, and very rich white sauces. What’s more interesting, all the people there love hors d’oeuvres, and so are Il Mulino chefs.

The fact that I love describing and talking about restaurants hasn’t given me the mandate to rate the restaurants, but if I would, I1 Mulino would get two thumbs up plus the highest ranks available amongst restaurants. When you walk in this restaurant, you’ll be forgiven to think you’re walking into a Milan restaurant. You’ll be welcomed by a window full of cheese, wine, and mouthwatering delicacies, all telling you what to expect inside as you’re summoned by a menu on a stand.

The moment you step foot inside Il Mulino New York Restaurant, you should be ready for your meal immediately and even before you pass your gratitude for the cheese, you’ll be slapped with bruschetta with basil and tomato and a large hors d’oeuvre will be brought to the table to share. Slightly afterwards a variety of Italian breads, focaccia, country bread, and garlic will follow suit all happening at a hiatus of 30seconds of just getting seated.

Ensure you taste I1 Mulino’s fried zucchini with a peppery finish. The restaurant in general is characterized by wrought irons and dark wood tones. There is this huge board which will give the smartly dressed waiters the privacy they need to put final touches on the dishes before final presentation.

Aureole Restaurant in Las Vegas

The creation of a well-respected gastronomic icon, Charlie Palmer, Aureole Restaurant in Las Vegas is a true reflection of the East Coast elegance of the renowned New York restaurant with a gaudy theatricality that perfectly suits its new local on the Strip. Adam Tihany, a legendary designer in charge of the design scheme gives an impressive backdrop of the seasonal and crafty culinary creations of Vincent Pouessel, the executive Chef who has an aptitude for channeling Palmer’s personal brand of uniquely Progressive American cuisine.

A gamut of seasonal a la carte, Prix-fixe menu options, and an overwhelming wine collection of over 40,000 bottles, this restaurant sets up an ambience ripe for a gradual appreciation of a true epicurean creativity. Each of the restaurant’s dining space creates its own stage for true connoisseur exhibitions. Aureole Restaurant’s main dining space extends outward in a well-lit spacious welcome adorned with dark wood, and blue and red accents joining together in a perfect arithmetical accord. The second dining room, known as Swan court reflects New York opera outings and its elegance.

The well-lit dining room has unique sitting spaces whereby majority of the tables and circular-shaped booths are privy to individual verandas, giving diners the added extravagance of enjoying drinks as well as company while watching the graceful swans as they move up and down in their outdoor pond. Contrary to most restaurants, Aureole has a private dining space with movable walls that act like Japanese screens and can allow people to use the rest of the restaurant when holding parties, or create an altogether private intimate affair depending on the fads.

Probably the most breathtaking of this restaurant’s design aspects is the much-admired wine tower – a 42ft pillar made of steel and glass and filled with over 10000 bottles of wine that would protrude spectacularly into the air like a contemporary obelisk.
