Valletta is capital city of picturesque island of Malta, situated in the Mediterranean Sea. This fortified town traces its origins back to the military fort built in 1569 by Frenchman, Jean Pariot de la Valette. This city, a world heritage site, is located on Malta’s northeast coast. It is surrounded by Mediterranean Sea in the east, Grand Harbour in south and the Mersamxett harbour to the north. Luga airport is 10 kilometers away from the city.

Valletta offers many attractions to visitors from world over. The view of sea from Mount Sciberras, on which city is located is treat to eyes of the visitor.
