Modern Touch of Tuscany

Villa La Vedetta

One of the smaller hotels in Florence, Italy, Villa La Vedetta is sure to please. It was originally a 19th century patrician villa, which has been converted into an awe-inspiring hotel. A sharp contrast to the Tuscany flavor of the city, its 18 spacious rooms are decorated in more modern furnishings. With mosaic marble whirlpools in each room an added touch you won’t find in some of the larger hotels. Some of the extra amenities include laundry service, DSL and WiFi connections for your laptop, radio, and satellite TV, childcare and cribs are also available. Everything in hotel is family oriented and wishes to make your stay enjoyable.

Villa La Vedetta has its own garden with a beautiful panoramic swimming pool and Jacuzzi. In walking distance of the piazzale Michelangelo, (this basically means the plaza) where you can gaze upon the bronze replica of Michelangelo’s Statue of David. Located near the edge of the river Arno, the hotel offers a fantastic view of the city.

The hotel offers its patrons a shuttle service, with suggestions on key points to visit while staying in Florence. However, the hotel also has a large private parking area.

The hotel offers a lounge and the gourmet restaurant ‘Onice’ that was recognized in 2004 with the Michelin Star. The restaurant also shows a more modern nuance to your dining pleasure. You may feel free to dine on the terrace or next to the pool. There is also a picnic area for you and the family to enjoy. If you are here on business, we have a banquet room available for meetings with a capacity of 50 people.

Our concierge and staff are here to help you with any of your needs. We offer valet service, currency exchange, and have handicapped rooms and facilities. If you wish to be pampered in a relaxing and cozy atmosphere, Villa La Vedetta is the place to be.
