Located in the city center by the park, the Grand Elysee is the largest hotel in Hamburg. With more than 500 guests’ rooms and banquet facilities for up to 1000 people, it is a popular place to stay in the city. There are multiple room and suite categories to choose from. All rooms are equipped with windows that open, air-conditioning, 3 telephones, internet access, safe, and mini-bar. All guests are greeted with a bowl of fruit and mineral water. The establishment is particular pleased with its mattresses. They offer pocket sprung mattresses that mold to the shape of the body. All bathrooms are designed with marble and have a bidet, cosmetic mirror, hair dryer and bathrobe.

The Grand Elysee is home to the Elyseum Wellness and Spa Center. The spa houses a large pool, Kneipp water therapy pool, Jacuzzi, and several saunas. Medical spa services are available in the form of massages, hot stone treatments and baths. A physical fitness center is attached to the spa. The hotel spa offers multiple beauty treatments at the Beauty Center. The spa serves light snacks and vitamin drinks while you participate in the activities there.

A unique feature is the Elysee Kindergarten. Located right next door to the Grand Elysee, the staff children are schooled here as are children from all over the city. Hotel guests can take advantage of the day care services offered here.

There is a large collection of art on display. The Block Collection, `chosen by the hotel owner Eugene Block, features over 600 pieces of art. With a focus on objective painting, there is a competition held there each year for local artists.

Excellent dinning at one of the six restaurants of the Grand Elysee is available. From local cuisine to international fare, there is a menu item suitable for any palette.
