After what might have looked like a lull, there three giants of the cutthroat theme park capital of the world namely, SeaWorld, Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World, who seem to have been working behind the scenes are promising a real surprise this coming summer and spring. They do not seem to be deterred by the recession affecting the travel industry and the economy at large.
Apart from foreign guests who may not be pouring as usual, the trio is spending their last dime to capture new customers and ensure the regulars keep flowing back. Residents across central Florida are benefitting from great enticements that are simply meant to keep them coming back. The companies have also reduced members of staff who are in areas that seem like non essential.
In what is touted to be their most go-getting collaborating experiences in their business, Disney and Universal are not leaving anything to chance. What with an “American Idol” exhibition at Disney and a roller coaster that gives the riders to personalize sound tracks at Universal. And not being left behind is SeaWorld, with their debut roller coaster in ten years featuring glamorous treat called Manta that integrates real life marine creatures. You miss it – you miss out.
