How to Travel

It’s very easy for you to travel to Cleveland. For one, there are 4 international and domestic airports in the city. If you have your own private jet or chartered plane, you can have it land at Burke Lakefront Airport. If you own your own car, you can go to Cleveland from your state by choosing any of the interstate highways. These include Interstates 71, 77, 90, and 80 (which is also called the Ohio Turnpike). On the other hand, there are freeways like Interstates 271, 480, 490, West Shoreway, Jennings Freeway, and Berea Freeway, to name a few.

If you’re traveling by train, you can ride Amtrak, which travels daily. Station hours can be between 9:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. the next day. Another cheaper mode of transportation will be the bus, such as Greyhound and Megabus. Of course, you should be aware that it will take you a much longer time when you’re going by bus, car, or even by boat. If you like to start your vacation early, you better save up for a flight. When you’re in Cleveland, you can just choose to travel by taxicabs or buses. You can also rent a private car. You will not have a problem commuting in the city, since all streets are normally composed of at least two lanes, and they are so wide.

One of the oldest churches in Cleveland is called Old Stone Church, which was built during the nineteenth century. It is also considered to be the oldest building in the entire city. Another very old facility is the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse, which is a greenhouse facility. Several special species of trees and plants can be found here.

Lastly, visit the Rock and Roll of Fame Museum, which has garnered millions of visitors every year ever since it was opened to the public in 1995. It contains artifacts and other mementos that relate to the history and growth of this unique form of music. You can find incredible personal pieces from rock and roll icons like Buddy Holly, John Lennon, and Jim Morrison, to name a few.

Nightlife in Cleveland

Cleveland is known to be such great lover of music, and it’s very common for you to find several live concerts that are being performed for free or fee in parks, theaters, and other special venues. You can buy a newspaper to know what’s up in the city. Nevertheless, the metro also offers several clubs and bars for those who love to party. These establishments can operate for several hours during the night. Music usually varies.

There are also restaurants, both fancy and not. Most of the hotels have their own restaurants and cafes, where prices can be pretty steep, but you may have gorgeous views of the city. You can also settle for cafes, where food and drinks are served at reasonable prices, and where you can spend quiet evenings all by yourself or with family and friends.
